 Van Kampen Financial Commercial

I'm co-starring in a clever, new commercial for Van Kampen Financial.  I get to play the mother of two darling children (Michaela & Vincent) and wife to wonderful actor Andray Johnson. Mr. Sam Jones is  fantastic as the Grandfather!

It's really quite funny...we're trying to convince his father to give a financial gift to our son's 529 education fund instead of supporting his dream of being a circus knife thrower by buying him a knife throwing kit. Grandpa's not having it!!

Cute scene alert:  little Michaela spinning on a bullseye painted wheel, screaming at the top of her lungs while her blindfolded brother practices throwing knives at her (courtesy of Grandpa - AKA Mr. Sam Jones).

What a great cast and crew...had an AWESOME day!

Coors Light Commercial

Kim Kimble Celebrity Stylist - Hair Product Infomercial

I am going to be a hair model in a new educational infomercial highlighting the fabulous product line of celebrity stylist Kim Kimble.  She's worked her special brand of glamour on celebs like Beyonce, Kerry Washington, Mary J. Blige, Shakira and Vanessa Williams as well as Oscar nominee Taraji Henson.  She said she liked my hair---especially the cut---so I get a chance to receive the star treatment from the best!!!  Am I a lucky girl...or what???

I got more of the "star treatment" from uber-talented celeb makeup artist and photographer D'Andre Michael.   His masterful work has graced the faces of celebs like Macy Gray, Mary J. Blige and many, many others.  Work!!

"My Daddy's the President" - Spec Pilot

I'm really excited about this new project that I'm involved in.  Had to pinch myself because I can't believe it:  I'm actually playing "Michelle Obama" in this pilot geared for children.  It centers on the relationship between the "First Daughter's" (one of whom possesses magical powers) and their Father----the President of the United States of America.  The producers have garnered a stellar cast and we begin filming at the end of March.

It feels so good to be a part of a project that you believe in so much!!!  I would personally like to thank our director, Bobby Aronofsky and our producers Todd Tackett and Perry Mann.  It was a privilege to "portray"---even in a small way---the First Family that now calls the White House...Home.

Coors Light Commercial - Shoot

You can catch Wendee playing the role of the On-Scene Reporter in a new ad campaign for Coors Light featuring the "cold-activated" cans.  How does it work?  Well, when your beer is as cold as the Rockies the label on the can will turn from blue to white.  Wendee will appear on screen in front of the Brooklyn Bridge with a giant glacier behind her for the clever campaign which is utilizing "green screen" technology.   

***Roll out of the commercial will begin at the end of March via the internet. 

At work on the set.  It was more than 70 degrees that day and I'm pretty much sweating like a pig in all of that gear!

Award-winning screenwriter Tony Moton will present an excerpt from his feature-length screenplay AMERICAN SOUL, about a man who epitomized the term soul music in America ... Marvin Gaye. In this confessional episode from a chillingly visceral script, Marvin's relationship with his father, Marvin Gaye Sr., reaches a critical mass in the spring of 1984.

Nine Los Angeles actors, under the direction of Tony, will perform selected scenes from AMERICAN SOUL as part of "The Candid Confessional," a new monthly performance series is featuring the most funny and thought-provoking essays, poems, scenes and other creative writing ventures of LA's hottest comics, writers, actors, poets and anyone else brave enough to…Confess.

AMERICAN SOUL was among the first contributions selected for the series. Tony is a past winner of the prestigious Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award, for his screenplay ALL BETS ARE ON.

"Stomp Out Loud @ Planet Hollywood - Las Vegas, NV

In a real case of life imitating art, Former KTNV Anchor/Entertainment Reporter joins the cast as a new member of "Stomp Out Loud" at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Casino.  Her first scheduled show will be May 6, 2008.
